Heads have a written head report from John French:
Erase Head: 80% life left
Record Head: 50% head life AFTER relapping (if desired)
Repro Head: 32 % head life AFTER relapping (if desired)
Relapping the heads is not required, but recommended
The seller is selling the Complete Headstack AND the 2 guides for $ 2,000
Complete headstacks in good condition don't often come up for sale,
and this is a headstack and the guides, so it's a complete 1/2 inch
conversion if you already have an Ampex ATR 102 machine
