======================================================
Note for Mastering Engineers:
  The Extended Low Frequency Repro Head is a must for your machine
it extends the low end and makes the low end as flat as it can be....
which is what you want in any Mastering Machine

Also Mastering Engineers should have 2 extra Audio Cards on hand and pre-set-up
for IEC-1 equalization - so you can switch quickly between NAB eq and IEC-1 eq tapes at 15 ips
by swapping audio cards rather than pulling the cards out, changing the EQ switches,
re-aligning the cards to IEC-1, then switching the EQ switches back and re-aligning to NAB EQ...

the first time you forget to set the EQ to the proper equalization - and the word gets around -
and it will... you will be laughing stock of Mastering Engineers and likely fighting that reputation for years and years.
It's not worth the risk.     Buy a couple spare Audio Cards and set them for IEC-1, label them "IEC-1"
Then make a point that you
1) know the difference between IEC-1 and NAB EQs
2) have the right audio cards and easily can switch between NAB and IEC-1
3) always do the correct thing rather than try and sneak by incorrectly.

Then you can laugh at those idiots who don't know IEC-1 from NAB from their asses
because you are a PRO and not a wana-be !

by the way this means you HAVE to have BOTH an NAB and a IEC-1 15 ips Test Tape !!!
and yes I sell brand new Alignment Tapes !!!
